#Fairfield CT--On Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at approximately 09:18am, the Fairfield County Regional Dispatch Center received a 911 call reporting a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle in the parking lot of 2150 Post Rd in Fairfield. Upon the arrival of emergency personnel, it was determined that a surveyor, who was assigned to perform work in the area, was struck by a vehicle in the driveway of the business. The driver of the vehicle was identified as a 19-year-old female who remained at the scene and is cooperating with police. #Trumbull CT-- A Trumbull resident scared off a burglar that entered into their residence during the early morning hours of Saturday, April 29. At about 5:00 a.m., Trumbull Police responded to a report of a residential burglary on Haverhill Road where an unknown individual had entered a home and then ran off after being confronted by the resident. The resident was alerted to someone walking around inside of their home, and when they confronted the suspect the unknown individual ran out of the house and down the road. Initial responding officers checked the area, but were unable to locate any persons, or vehicles, related to this incident. No injuries were reported. #Bridgeport CT--On April 27, 2023, at approximately 11:00 am, Bridgeport Police Officer Dani Soto was dispatched to Central High School to check on the welfare of an 18-year-old female student. The student lost cell phone contact with a friend as she was leaving the school campus walking towards North Avenue.
