Shelton Security Officer Arrested For DUI Taking Daughter Trick or Treating

#Stratford CT--On Wednesday night, Stratford Police said they were called to Nichols and North Avenues for a car accident. Police said Barrett had been driving his 12-year-old daughter, who was in a Halloween costume, around the neighborhood so that she could go trick or treating when he struck a car driven by a woman who was doing the same thing with her children. Police said Barrett smelled strongly of alcohol and admitted he had six drinks. They said he was arrested after failing a field sobriety test. His daughter was turned over to a relative. St. Vincent’s Medical Center will host its fourth “Medical Mission at Home.” Nearly 400 volunteer medical staff and associates will offer medical exams, vaccinations, foot washing and podiatry services, haircuts, mammography exams, behavioral health services, connections to community providers, follow-up care, and more. Bridgeport News: Man And Woman Shot Halloween Night

11:11pm--#Bridgeport CT-- A man and a woman were shot on Maplewood Avenue near Howard Avenue. This is breaking news and there isn't a lot of info right now but witnesses told me they heard about ten shots fired. When I arrived a man was already in the ambulance and appeared to be unresponsive. Witnesses said the woman was leaning against a building but was already transported when I arrived. Witnesses did not see the shots fired but Maplewood Avenue had a number of shell casings in the middle of the road.

Bridgeport News: Woman With 2 Kids In Stroller Hit By SUV

2:49pm--#Bridgeport CT-- A woman crossing in the crosswalk with a tandem stroller in front of Roosevelt School at 680 Park Avenue was allegedly hit by an SUV. Witnesses said one of the children in the front of the stroller was thrown into the road from the impact. Multiple witnesses said the driver of the SUV allegedly attempted to flee but a woman threw herself in front of the SUV and many wrote the plate number down. First responders were quick on the scene as they were just down the street with a school bus accident at Park Avenue and Maplewood Avenue.   The woman and children were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries. Police are investigating.<
