Bridgeport News: Stabbed In The Eye

POLICE UPDATE:   #Bridgeport CT-- On Thursday, April 26th I first told you of an individual who showed up at Bridgeport Hospital stabbed in the eye. Police identified the man as Carl James, 23 of West Liberty Street, Bridgeport. Police Chief AJ Perez said that the victim was sitting in a car with his girlfriend at Norman and Fairfield Avenue. Police are trying to piece the story together but the victim is not cooperating. The man's injuries were serious enough to transport him to Yale New Haven Hospital. Students Without Legal Status Tuition Passes House

HARTFORD, CT – Governor Dannel P. Malloy and Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman applauded the state House of Representatives for the passage today of S.B. 4, An Act Assisting Students Without Legal Immigration Status With The Cost Of College, in a bipartisan manner. The legislation passed the Senate with bipartisan support last week.
