8:20pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Department of Children and Families has requested police to inspect a home in the 300 block of Alba Avenue for weapons. A five-year-old from there allegedly brought a handgun with one bullet in it to Hallen School at 68 Omega Avenue and gave the gun to another child according to police radio reports.
6:25pm--#Bridgeport CT-- An elderly man was injured and transported to the hospital after he backed his car into the Domino's at 4310 Main Street. If you have an order placed, not to worry, as it appeared the staff was still processing orders despite the commotion. I wonder if he had Domino's Carryout Insurance?
12:56pm--Police located a black Volkswagen wanted in a number of assaults including the robbery/shooting on Clinton Avenue. They followed the car towards Trumbull Gardens when the suspect fled from the car on Oakleaf Street. A brief foot pursuit followed and they apprehended and arrested the suspect on Rainbow Road. A firearm was recovered.

POLICE UPDATE: #Bridgeport CT-- On Thursday, April 26th I first told you of an individual who showed up at Bridgeport Hospital stabbed in the eye. Police identified the man as Carl James, 23 of West Liberty Street, Bridgeport. Police Chief AJ Perez said that the victim was sitting in a car with his girlfriend at Norman and Fairfield Avenue. Police are trying to piece the story together but the victim is not cooperating. The man's injuries were serious enough to transport him to Yale New Haven Hospital.
