Bridgeport News: Man Confess In Killing 16 Year Old Girl

10:11pm 2/19--Last night, a man called the dispatch center and reported that he just killed his 16 year-old daughter. Officers immediately responded to his apartment at 2292 Fairfield Ave, Second Floor.When they arrived, they found the caller, Richard Segabiro (DOB: 5/5/86), covered in blood and his niece, Francine Nyanzaninka, (who he raised as his daughter) dead in the bathroom of their apartment. She appeared to have been stabbed multiple times. Also in the home at the time of the homicide were Segabiro's wife and three young children, who were unharmed. Segabiro was arrested and later confessed to the stabbing. Segabiro is charged with Murder and is being held on a $1,000,000 bond.   This is the 3rd homicide of 2018 in Bridgeport.

Bridgeport News: Man Kills His 16 Year Old Daughter in Black Rock

10:13pm—(2/19) Just after 10pm a man called the police that he had killed his sixteen-year-old daughter at 2292 Fairfield Avenue at the corner of Hansen Avenue. He told police on the phone that he had a knife and was waiting in the living room. When police arrived they found the man outside waiting for the officers and peacefully surrendered. They found the girl in the second-floor apartment dead in the bathroom. The family was still inside the apartment and was led away by detectives for questioning.

I-95 Crashes

10:40pm--#cttraffic--Two separate I-95 crashes to report on.  One accident is I-95 southbound exit 23 off-ramp.  A second accident is on I-95 southbound near exit 22 between a tractor-trailer and a car.  The tractor-trailer admitted to state police he was changing from the center to the right lane and did not see the car.  The driver in the car is injured and being transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.

Norwalk News: Overdose Arrest

On October 8, 2017, at 11:12pm Norwalk Police responded to a drug overdose in an Uber at the intersection of Grist Mill and Route 7. Norwalk Hospital EMS revived the victim and transported the victim to the Norwalk Hospital. The victim was in possession of heroin, which later tested positive for Fentanyl. Norwalk Detectives initiated an investigation into the incident. The investigation, led by Detective Taranto, revealed that the victim had purchased the drugs from Kyle Lors. Based on the investigation, an arrest warrant was issued for Lors. Detectives arrested Lors without incident at his residence on February 8, 2018. Boys & Girls Village Awarded Grants to Expand Specialized Treatment Services

  #Milford, Conn. – February 13, 2018  – Boys & Girls Village (BGV), a statewide leader in providing behavioral health treatment, permanency planning, and educational services to Connecticut’s most vulnerable youth and their families, has been awarded two program grants totaling more than $1.5 Million.
