Stratford News: Man Stabbed
#Straford Police UPDATE: On 12/24/17 at 2327 hours, officers were sent to 485 Greenfield Ave in Stratford for the reports of a stabbing. The investigation revealed that a female arrived at the residence, punched a female victim and stabbed a male victim in the chest. Both victims were treated at Bridgeport Hospital. There was a child present but was unharmed during the altercation. Karalyn M. Mikucionis 4/26/1990 was placed under arrest and charged with the following: Assault 1 st, Assault 3 rd, Carrying a Dangerous Weapon, Risk of Injury and Disorderly Conduct. 4:11pm--#Fairfield CT-- A 24 year old man was transported to the hospital after being hit by a car in front of BJ's at 111 Black Rock Turnpike. The man's injuries were not serious according to first responders.
Fairfield News: Cops Called On Middle Eastern Men
1:33pm--#Fairfield CT-- Police were called to the intersection of Tunxis Hill and Villa Avenue for "middle eastern men" handing something out to cars at the intersection. I stopped by and it turned out to be religious pamphlets and they appeared to be very respectful to me and the passing cars. Police agreed and let them continue.
Bridgeport News: 2 Days Before Christmas City Has 23rd Homicide
9:55am--#Bridgeport CT-- #Bridgeport CT--Just before 10am two days before Christmas police received multiple calls for shots fired at Maple and Kossuth Street. Police confirmed that a man was shot outside the Maple Deli and fell through the front door. Police said the man is the city's 23rd homicide of the year, he was deceased when first responders arrived. Police are interviewing the clerk and owner of the store as well as reviewing surveillance video. One man is the suspected in the shooting. A state police K-9 was brought to the scene but left a short time later, apparently not picking up a scent in the rain.

UPDATE: The man was on the Bridgeport side and Trumbull Police are detaining the man for Bridgeport.
