5:11pm--#Bridgeport CT-- A man was hit at the intersection of Iranistan and State Street. The man received a gash to the head and was transported to the hospital. The driver remained on scene and was cooperating with police.

On Monday, December 3, 2018, four (4) officers of the Trumbull Police Department were promoted to new ranks in the agency, taking on new leadership roles with additional responsibilities. The ceremony included two (2) new sergeants and two (2) new lieutenants. Lieutenant Anthony Lopes has been an officer with Trumbull Police for 12 years and graduated from Central CT State University with a Bachelor’s Degree. He was most recently assigned to Support Services as a sergeant and is expected to move back to the Patrol Division as a Shift Commander soon. 8:16pm--#Bridgeport CT-- First responders were called to the 700 block of Iranistan Avenue for an alleged intoxicated driver that hit a chain linked fence and caused minor damage to the porch of a house.
8:08pm--#Bridgeport CT-- A crash at State and Park Avenue. Firefighters were first on scene and requested police because the drivers were allegedly starting to fight.
7:22pm--#Trumbull CT-- A crash on the Merritt Parkway between exits 52 and 53. The highway is shut down as EMS is being directed to go southbound in the northbound lane to access the accident quicker. This news report is made possible by:
