7:55pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Firefighters were called to a bedroom fire at 118 Vine Street on the third floor in the rear of the structure. When firefighters we on the way there were radio reports of two small children trapped. When they arrived the children and everyone made it out safely. Firefighters had the blaze out quickly. There were no reported injuries.
6:20pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Two people were injured and one man in the blue car had to be extricated by firefighters in this crash at James and North Avenue. The roadway is currently shut down.

#Stratford CT--For the past several months, the Stratford Police Narcotics Vice and Intelligence Unit has been conducting a Heroin Investigation within the Town Of Stratford. That During the investigation, Detectives developed a suspect, Garfield Howell D.O.B 01/28/1989 of Stratford as a Heroin Dealer. Detectives also discovered that Howell is a School Bus Driver for WE Transport. During Surveillance, Detectives observed Howell on several occasions, using the School Bus to purchase and deliver Heroin. Detectives from the Stratford Police Narcotics and Vice Unit along with Bridgeport Police Task Force Members executed a Search Warrant at 2318 Barnum Ave in Stratford. During the warrant service Detectives seized approx. 195 grams of Heroin. Howell was arrested and charged as follows: (4 Counts)-Sale of Narcotics…

10:03pm--#Fairfield CT-- Burroughs Road near Fairst Street is closed for a one truck accident. The driver was able to free himself but was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The road will be closed until the large branch from the tree is removed from the roadway.
9:02pm--#cttraffic--#Milford CT-- A crash between a car and tractor-trailer on I-95 northbound at exit 40. The car is on its roof. There is also a propane tank in the back of the car but it is not leaking according to radio reports. Avoid the area if you can.
