Fairfield News: Special Needs Fair
#Fairfield CT--The Fairfield Special Education PTA is set to host a FREE Provider and Resource Fair for all Fairfield residents, and those in surrounding towns, who have children with special needs or disabilities. This fair will take place on Wednesday, April 25th from 6 PM – 8:30 PM at McKinley Elementary School located at 60 Thompson Street, Fairfield in the gymnasium. The purpose of the provider fair is to broaden awareness within the special needs community about the various resources available in our region, provide the opportunity to connect directly with providers and obtain information on the programs and services that they provide. Parents will then be able to determine whether any are compatible with the needs of their child(ren).…
Bridgeport News: 1 Dead In Motorcycle Crash
#Bridgeport CT-- Police say that just before 7pm Sunday, the motorcycle was traveling south on Park Avenue when it collided with a white sedan that was slowly turning onto Park Avenue. The motorcycle collided with the car throwing the driver and passenger. The driver of the motorcycle, Danillo Andrade, 31, remains in the hospital from bleeding on the brain and a fractured wrist. His passenger Miranda Elienai died from serious head injuries. The driver of the car was identified Tremaine Wilson of New Haven. No charges have been filed and police continue to investigate.

Bridgeport News: Snapped Utility Pole Injures Man -Closes Road
10:39am--#Bridgeport CT-- A tractor-trailer hit some low wires causing a utility pole on Wordin Avenue causing the pole to snap at its base. The pole smashed s car and injured a man when the wires hit him. If you are heading towards Went Park expect to be detoured while UI works to clear the mess.

Bridgeport News: Person Shot Trumbull Gardens
8:30pm--#Bridgeport CT-- A person was reportedly shot in 500 block of Trumbull Gardens. Radio reports say it was possibly a female shot and taken to the hospital by private vehicle. Police and detectives are on scene investigating. Shell casings have been located.
