11:22pm–#Bridgeport CT– Police investigate a 3 car crash at Lexington Avenue and Grand Street.  No word on any injuries.

 

11:31pm–#Bridgeport CT– Housing police at Greene Homes hear shots fired and witness a jeep speed off.  A pursuit led them to PT Barnum Housing near building 4.  The jeep was located with no one in it.  K-9 called to assist in the search.  A short time later St. Vincent’s Hospital called to report a gun shot victim arrived.  A short time later St. V’s calls back to report a fight at the hospital with friends/family connected to the shooting victim.

9:00pm–#Bridgeport CT– First responders were in the church parking lot at 45 Monroe Street for what was first thought to be a person shot in gunfire inside a car.  Turns out he was allegedly intoxicated with a gash to his head.

8:40pm–#Monroe CT– Monroe has two calls going.  A structure fire reported on Mustang Lane and a lightning strike no fire at 311 Booth Hill Road.

8:44pm–#Stratford CT–#cttraffic– A crash with a car off the roadway I-95 southbound near exit 31.  No word on injuries.

 

7/3UPDATE: I am really sorry to report the child passed away.

7/1 UPDATE: Police say the 2-year-old girl remains in very critical condition at Yale New Haven hospital.
They say her mother held a get together at her home yesterday, called for everybody who was by the pool to come inside, she turned around for just a few seconds and the baby had fallen into the pool. Mom pulled baby out of the water, first responders did CPR and got a pulse, child began breathing on her own. Went to St. V’s, then flown to Yale. In very critical condition now due to issue with her lungs.

 

2:24pm–#Bridgeport CT– Firefighters responded to a possible drowning according to initial scanner reports on May Street (off Chopsey Hill).  Chief AJ Perez said a young man was on scene when firefighters arrived and was performing CPR on the two year old girl.  She was transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital and then later to Yale New Haven Hospital where she was reported to have a good heart rate.

 

2:39pm–#Bridgeport CT– A possible drowning of a child in a swimming pool on May Street (off Chopsey Hill).  CPR was in progress and the child was transported to St Vincents Hospital.  No word on the child’s condition

12:22pm–#Bridgeport CT– Report of an odor smoke indoors at 2710 North Avenue.  Here come the firetrucks!
