Then they received a call for a gas inside on Pequot Avenue and a fire alarm at Mill Hill School. As I'm writing this they were just dispatched to a call of a car into the guardrail and possibly into a utility pole on the North Benson off ramp, now reports a box truck hitting an SUV. #Fairfield CT-- Around 1:30 Saturday morning Fairfield Emergency Communications began receiving calls for a fire in the rear porch at the historic 480 Old Post Road. When firefighters arrived they confirmed that there was heavy fire in the back of the building. The fire quickly spread throughout the large structure. Everyone reportedly made it out of the home but one person did jump from a second story window and was taken to the hospital by EMS. Firefighters made entry through the front doors.
