12:17am--#Bridgeport CT-- Police are investigating a strong armed robbery on Harriet Street near East Washington Avenue. The victim was robbed by two males who fled on foot. No weapons were displayed. This news report is made possible by:
UPDATE: Police said one person was grazed by a bullet and the second person had lacerations due to an assault but was not shot. Neither had life-threatening injuries. It was reported to have occurred on Palisades Avenue. 11:20pm--#Bridgeport CT--Two people were brought in by private vehicle to Bridgeport Hospital, one person was shot in the back of the head according to radio reports. Police responded to two large gatherings one at Boston Avenue and Boston Terrace as well as another large gathering on Bond Street. Police can be seen securing the blue vehicle in the picture. There was also a large police presence in and around the hospital.
10:55pm--#Bridgeport CT-- 3 people were reported injured in a crash in front of St. Vincent's Hospital on Main Street. One car did catch fire and firefighters were quick to the scene to extinguish it. I contacted the police spokesperson for more details and I should hear more by morning.

Norwalk Detectives are investigating a car theft that occurred outside the Family Markert at 72 Taylor Avenue on June 4, 2017. The pictured suspect stole a vehicle that was unlocked and running outside the market. 3:11pm--#Fairfield CT-- A car traveling north, uphill on Pemburn Drive (off Jennings Road) hit a parked car (on the left blocked by the firetruck) and rolled over. The driver has undetermined injuries at the time of this post.
11:37am--#Bridgeport CT-- A viewer sent in this photo of a crash at the corner of Nobel and Jane Street. One of the vehicles hit the building at 629 Noble Avenue, Google says the address is the Congregation Of Yahweh. There was no word on any injuries.
UPDATE: John Capiello of Bridgeport Hospital says "Bridgeport Hospital was on a heightened state of surveillance today after staff received word that a female patient had been verbally threatened by her boyfriend. Hospital security worked with Bridgeport police to make sure no problems arose. But as of 3:15 p.m., the patient was discharged without incident, so the hospital is no longer on alert." 2:02pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Bridgeport Hospital is on lockdown according to police radio reports due to phone threats from a person who said he will "come back with a gun and shoot up the place".
