12:41pm–#cttraffic– Merritt Parkway southbound pursuit at exit 50 now at 48 at about 100mph. Just exited 48 at the mall. Pursuit just turned on Oxford Street in Bridgeport which is a dead end street. Sounds like they got him! 4 in custody!

8:32pm–#Bridgeport Connecticut– A car slammed into a commercial building at 4750 Main Street. Firefighters first reported about seventy five percent of the driver’s side of the car was inside the building. Firefighters had to work carefully to shore up the vehicle and building so nothing shifted onto the firefighters. It took over 45 minutes to free the man who was pinned in the car. Radio reports said he was in stable condition and was transported to the hospital.
8:25pm–#Bridgeport Connecticut– Today’s vehicle fire is at 2610 East Main Street in the CVS parking lot where a Hummer is on fire and it spread to another parked car.

6:20pm–#Bridgeport Connecticut– An armed robbery with a knife at Noble and Shelton Avenue. The victim was injured by the knife in the robbery. Police are looking for a dark skinned black male with a goatee wearing a blue hoodie, a second suspect he did not get a good look at but said he as wearing a do-rag.

3:40pm–#Stratford Connecticut– A motorcyclist has dumped his bike in front of 1418 Stratford Avenue. Expect delays in the area.

On 02-17- 2017 at approximately 1956 hrs, Officers responded to an accident at the intersection of Canaan Road near Mary Avenue. The accident involved a Toyota Camry and a motor scooter. Preliminary investigation indicates that the moped operator was traveling south on Mary Avenue and attempted to cross Canaan Road to continue onto Mary Avenue. While crossing the intersection the Camry which was traveling west on Canaan Road collided with the moped. The operator of the moped was ejected and suffered serious injury. He was transported to Bridgeport Hospital for treatment.
The accident is still under investigation and fault has not yet been determined. The operator of the Camry remained at the scene and was cooperative. The moped operator was last listed in critical condition.
