6:39pm--#Bridgeport Connecticut-- A bedroom fire on Laurel fight was fought off with a garden hose by Laurel Lane homeowner according radio reports until firefighters arrived. Fire is out and no reported injuries.
Fairfield News: Child Hit By Car
Fairfield Police statement: On Saturday, 02/04/17 at 4:20pm, the Fairfield Police Department responded to a pedestrian that was struck by a motor vehicle within the lot of Tomlinson Middle School, located at 200 Unquowa Road. The pedestrian was a juvenile who is a resident of Fairfield. The vehicle involved, a 2006 Toyota Camry, was being operated by Gary Potmesil, a 76 year old male who resides in Norwalk. Potmesil was operating the Camry eastbound within the Tomlinson Middle School parking lot and collided with the juvenile with his front left fender. The juvenile’s mother was on scene and called 911 immediately following the collision. The juvenile was transported to Bridgeport Hospital by AMR ambulance as a result of the injuries sustained.…

The discussion will be in the Rotary Room at the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road, on Sunday, February 12 at 2 pm (snow date: February 26). He will begin with the golden age of the ancient Egyptian empire (18 th dynasty), then cover the Greco-Roman period and end with the Arab-Islamic Conquest of Egypt in the year 641. 11:36pm--UPDATE: The second shooting occurred on I-95 and state police are taking over the investigation. The person was shot in the buttocks with non-life threatening injuries. UPDATE: Another person just showed up at Bridgeport Hospital shot.
