Bridgeport News: 2 Shot

UPDATE: Police are saying both the husband and wife involved in this shooting are in critical condition and they are looking into the possibility of this being a murder suicide attempt.

5:00AMish– Police say two people were shot at 15 Chase Street (off  Island Brook Avenue)  around five this morning.  There is no word on their conditions.  Police are working to a search warrant to the home.

Fairfield News: First Responders Busy With 2 Crashes

8:22pm—#Fairfield Connecticut– Wet roads kept first responders busy with 2 accidents moments apart from each other.  The first accident was a one car accident, the driver went straight through the intersection at Chambers Road at Commerce Drive, but you could only go left or right at the intersection.  He went up the embankment between the Porsche dealer and Tile America.  The second accident came moments later on Stratfield Road at Davis Road.  It is not known at this time if there were any injuries at either accident.

Westport Halloween Parade

The Westport Parks and Recreation Department, the Downtown Merchants Association and Westport P.A.L. have announced that the Children’s Halloween Parade will take place on Thursday, October 27, 2016.  This event is for all children, especially those 8 and under.

Children and parents will meet at Main Street and Post Road East at 3:30 p.m.

 

The parade will go up Main Street, turn right onto Avery Place, then turn left on Myrtle Ave to Town Hall.  Entertainment, refreshments and a small gift will be provided on Veterans Green across from Town Hall at 4:00 p.m.

 

Please note that there will be NO PARKING on Main Street between 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. during this event.  In case of inclement weather, festivities will be take place in Town Hall at 3:30 p.m.
