#Bridgeport, Conn. (October 16, 2015 Press Release) – The Bridgeport Police Department announced an arrest of a man for stealing a motor vehicle. On October 14, 2015 at around 4:20 p.m., police officers were traveling south on
Police officers matched the license plate of the Hyundai with a vehicle on the list. Officers then made a U-turn, and caught up to the vehicle at the intersection of Dover St. and Tudor St. The driver of the Hyundai then made a right turn onto Tudor St towards Remington St. The vehicle continued eastbound across Remington St. onto Harvey St. As police officers followed the Hyundai, they confirmed with dispatch that the vehicle was stolen. Police officers activated their car lights, and siren, and pulled the vehicle over on Boston Terrace near the corner of Boston Ave.
The driver, Derek Williams (12/06/96), was taken into custody without incident. Williams was charged with larceny. Bond was set at $5,000.
2:11pm–#Bridgeport CT–A resident at 423 Wells Street called police that a male named Steve Miller said he was running for mayor of Bridgeport and if she didn’t vote for him he was going to blow her up………Bridgeport Police File Number 151 because you just can’t make this stuff up!

11:51pm–#Bridgeport CT–A woman in the 400 block of Courtland Avenue found a hidden camera pointed at the shower. She suspects her roommate, or soon to be ex-roommate. It should have been interesting because the roommate was home when police arrived. Police are investigating.
