Westport News: House Fire
4:38pm--#Westport CT--Firefighters on scene at 10 Bluff Road for a house fire. Fire in the walls in the living room extended to adjoining bedrooms. Norwalk and Fairfield provided mutual aid to cover empty fire houses. Westport firefighters had the bulk of the fire out within a half hour. There was no reported injuries. This report sponsored by:

Bridgeport News: Motorcyclist Injured
1:40pm--#Bridgeport CT-- A motorcyclist was injured when he crashed into a van at the intersection of King Street and Fairfield Avenue. Police tell me that a van inched its way onto Fairfield Avenue and the motorcyclist had to dump his bike to avoid greater injury impacting the van. The bike clipped the van as opposed to a full impact. Police said the motorcyclist was wearing riding equipment including a helmet which further protected him. EMS transported the biker to the hospital.
