4:40pm–#ctfire–#Milford CT–Firefighters are battling a fire off Old Gate Lane near the recycling plant.  The fire is also on the railroad tracks.  #MTA has been notified.  Firefighters say they are battling a number of brush fires.  Special thanks to Austin for snapping this from the Milford Mall.

Westport Volunteer Emergency Medical Services will be hosting their Spring Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) course from May 12th – July 10th at Westport
EMS headquarters. This is an accelerated course for those with busy summers, anybody and everybody is welcome (must be 16 years old by July 10). This course teaches priceless life-saving skills and gives you the opportunity to volunteer (or work) with your local Ambulance and become a member of our EMS family! 2:11am–#Bridgeport CT– First responders are on the scene at the U-Haul on Boston Avenue at the intersection of East Main Street for a crash with extrication.  This is a two car crash, the other car is about 150 feet on the green.  Avoid the area.

11:04pm–#Bridgeport CT–Police are investigating a back door that was forced open at Food World at 345 Huntington Turnpike.
