5:23pm--#Bridgeport CT--Than man in the white shirt and blue jeans directing traffic in the middle of 538 Capital Avenue and causing a disturbance. Police and EMS on the way....they might have a special jacket for him.
4:40pm--#Bridgeport CT-- A 4 year old was shot in the head with a bb gun on Kent Avenue. The child is currently getting medical attention at Bridgeport Hospital ER.
4:09pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Report of a car that struck a porch at Brooks Street and Arctic Street.
3:58pm--#Southport CT--#Fairfield CT--First responders on their way to Southport Harbor Channel for an overturned boat, known if was on the boat. UPDATE--A private vessel is with the overturned boat, possibly one victim.
#Fairfield CT--#cttraffic--Police will be closing I-95 southbound exit 24 ramp as well Chambers Street at Kings Highway East and Johnson Drive around 8pm while they do a slow speed reenactment/analysis of the crash at Cumberland Farms last week.
#Norwalk CT--A couple were arrested in Norwalk hotel when the woman found out her boyfriend was sleeping with her mother. Police arrested John Coley and Shantae McGhee-Brown both from Chicago, Illinois last night at the Doubletree on Connecticut Avenue and charged them with disorderly conduct and third-degree criminal mischief. McGhee-Brown was additionally charged with interfering with an officer. Both suspects were held on $100,000 bond
#Bridgeport CT--Phone scammers are batting five hundred so far. The calls usually say they have your family member hostage and will only release them if you wire them money. An earlier call to a Bridgeport resident knew it was a scam and called police to report it. A woman on Success Avenue just wired the money only to find out her brother was ok.
#Bridgeport, CT – April 1, 2014 – A traffic stop led to a drug arrest Monday after an officer observed a snipped straw with white residue by her feet. Officer Adam Roscoe observed a vehicle double parked and blocking traffic on East Main Street at5:45 p.m. Roscoe ran the license plate number and learned that the car was unregistered. After a passenger exited the car and, as the motorist started driving away, Roscoe pulled her over. After seeing the short straw, an item often used for snorting narcotics, Roscoe asked the driver if she had anything else he needed to know about. She stated that she had a tin container in her pocket that contained pills. Police recovered the item and recovered numerous white pills…
