10:11pm--#Norwalk CT--Firefighters battle a ceiling fire in the laundromat at 171 Main Street. The fire was caused by a commercial grade dryer. Firefighters kept it from extending elsewhere.
Child drinks bleach
8:11pm--#Bridgeport CT--EMS and police on scene on Whittier Street for a 16 month old who may have drank bleach.
Fire displaces family
7:33pm--#Bridgeport CT--A fire in the 700 block of Arctic Street was quickly knocked down by the fire department. Damage to the apartment coupled with loss of electricity displaces the family. Red Cross assisting them.
Stolen vehicle recovered- one in custody
4:11pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police arrest one and recover a stolen vehicle in front of Popeye's on North Avenue. Its a red 2012 Hyundai Sonata 4 door from Fairfield.
Fire pit out of control
4:08pm--#Fairfield CT--Firefighters on the way to the 600 block of Hoyden's Hill behind a construction site where a fire pit has gotten out of control and extending to the grass area. Fairfield freighters busy today!
Smoke condition in a building

Possible Fire in Ansonia
2:29pm--#Ansonia CT--Possible structure fire at 221 Housatonic Avenue. Resident says heavy smoke coming from the basement. They have closed the door afraid to check on it.
Out of hand fireplace fire
1:32pm--#Stratford CT--Firefighters on the way to an out of hand fire in the fireplace at 403 Bar Harbor Road. The flue won't open and surrounding area of the fireplace is getting really hot.
White milky substance
1:30pm--#Fairfield CT--Firefighters called to check for a possible leak in the stream between Congress Street and the Merritt Parkway for a white milky substance in the water.
Odor of burning in drug store
