Foot pursuit/manhunt in Bridgeport
11:04pm--#Bridgeport CT--A briefly chased a car from Seaview Ave to the on ramp of I-95. It became a foot pursuit and they ran off down Seaview Avenue near Beardsley Street area. Heavy police presence in the area. 12:00am--UPDATE--One in custody after an extensive search. Reports indicate a large quantity of PCP was found in the car.
Odor of gas indoors
8:48pm--#Bridgeport CT--Report of an odor of gas inside a mobile home at 272 Garfield Avenue. Firefighters on the way. Turns out to be a gasoline leak under the mobile home.
Suspicious Package
7:28pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police are on scene at Sampson Street with a suspicious package. It is a green duffel bag that says National Guard on it located at the corner. 7:33pm--UPDATE--Trns out to be someone's gym bag.....
Sewing needle in the finger
5:34pm--#Fairfield CT--A seventh grader at the Studio at 85 Mill Plain Road has a needle from a sewing machine stuck in her finger. Firefighters and EMS on the way.
Bank Robbery/Kidnapping at Fairfield Bank
2:10pm--#Fairfield CT--Shortly after 2pm Monday afternoon police responded to a at TD Bank at 1915 Black Rock Turnpike. A man was kidnapped in Bridgeport brought to Fairfield to withdraw all his cash and clean out his safety deposit box. Police have one man in custody and are search for a light skinned Hisapnic male who fled in light blue Mercedes BL500. Two officer working an extra duty road job a block away were quickly on scene. The victim and employees of the bank were not hurt.

11:21am--#Bridgeport CT--Firefighters responded to 927 Park Avenue behind the Gulf Gas Station for a possible bomb. A person saw glass with wires coming out of it. There was no problem but police were dispatched to file a report.
