#Bridgeport CT-- At approximately 7:30pm Sunday, the Bridgeport ECC received a 911 call reporting an assault with a dangerous weapon at the Arches of Seaside Park. Bridgeport Police and AMR on-scene with a wound to the face by a sharp object. Medics treating the person and police are actively investigating the incident. No further details at this time. Bridgeport Fire Official Update: On-Scene Fire Incident Command notifications indicated heavy fire third-floor. The Fire Incident Commander quickly declared a working fire and upgraded the incident to a second alarm. An evacuation tone was ordered at one point during the fire for all firefighters to evacuate the structure. The fire department was able to get the fire under control and extinguished. These teenagers thought it was a bries to wreak havoc by running into the store, flinging cheese left and right, and giving innocent shoppers a slice of mayhem.
