AUTHOR CHARLES F. ROSENAY AT STRATFORD LIBRARY DECEMBER 21

     The Stratford Library will present a special "Meet-the-Author" event on Tuesday, December 21 at 6:30pm with Charles F. Rosenay.  Rosenay, the author of the pop culture book titled The Book of Top 10 Horror Lists, which collects lists of favorite monster movies, actors, and other themes from 100 celebrities, will be doing an author appearance, book reading and personal signing at the Library.  Just a few of the pop culture icons featured in the book include William (Star Trek) Shatner, Butch (Eddie Munster) Patrick, Ruth (Laugh-In) Buzzi, baseball great Dave Winfield, the late actor Ed Asner, Bill (Lost in Space) Mumy, Jane Wiedlin of The Go-Gos, mentalist The Amazing Kreskin, singer Gary Puckett, and many others.  More than just lists, every submission was a list plus additional…

Westport News: Identity Theft Among Multiple Charges

#Westport CT-- On May 25, 2021, the Westport Police began to investigate suspicious withdrawals fromthe bank account of a person who died in February 2021. The appointed fiduciary reported thatas she was reviewing the deceased’s bank statements, she noticed that several cash withdrawalswere made between the day after the man died and May of 2021. It was determined that thewithdrawals occurred at the ATMs of area banks. The investigating detective was able to obtainsurveillance footage of the alleged illegal cash withdrawals. The footage showed a younger maleand an older female as well as the car that they were driving. Based on that information, AdamClawson and his mother, Arlene Clawson, were developed as suspects. Bridgeport News: Man Walking Dog Stabbed

2021-12-11@ 6:49am--#Bridgeport CT--The Bridgeport ECC received a report of a person stabbed on Jane Street.  Police responded to the area however the victim was not located.  A short time later, Bridgeport Hospital advised that a person had just walked in reporting they were stabbed.  It was initially reported that the victim was walking his dog outside when he was stabbed. Reports indicate the party was stabbed twice in the left arm and the injuries appear to be non-life threatening.  According to the victim, the suspect ran up behind the victim and stabbed him twice.  There is no description of the responsible person at this time. #Seymour CT-- The Seymour Police Department is investigating a car vs pedestrian crash which occurred at 6:05 pm on Bank St (Rt. 67) in front of Klarides Village shopping center. At the present time the road is shut down and will be for at least the next 3 to 4 hours or longer. Please avoid the area and use alternate routes. The road is shut down at Bank St and Swan Ave and Bank St and Woodside Ave as well as the entrance/exit of Klarides Village shopping center.
