I-95 Crash With Possible Ejection

Bridgeport News: Person Shot

2020-07-25@11:50pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Police are investigating a shooting on Atwater Street near Park Avenue.  Police are saying a street fight erupted into shots fired and the victim was shot in the lower extremity and had non-life-threatening injuries.  The victim was transported to St. Vincent's Hospital in a private vehicle.

UPDATE: The pedestrian struck on July 25, 2020, has been identified as 31-year-old Edward Torres of Bridgeport Connecticut.  He continues to be treated at St. Vincent’s Hospital.   Bridgeport Police UPDATE: On July 25, 2020 at approximately 11:36 pm Bridgeport Police Patrol Officers, Bridgeport Fire Department and AMR responded to the scene of a serious crash on Main St just south of Vincellette St near the entrance to Merritt Canteen. An unidentified male was operating a white Mitsubishi Lancer bearing CT Registration AT47297 northbound on Main St and as he approached the intersection of Vincellette St he rear-ended an unknown black vehicle.
