#Bridgeport CT– Chief Perez with representatives of the Bridgeport Police Department announce a Gun Buyback event to be hosted on Saturday, May 11 from 10am-3pm at the Community Services office at 1395 Sylvan Avenue.   Local business owners have gathered to support this event in an effort to reduce the number of firearms owned by residents in our city, and to provide a process whereby members of the community can safely turn-in and sell privately owned firearms to the police.  The program includes residence from around the surrounding community as well.
