Bridgeport News: 2 Extricated In 2 Car Crash

7:33pm--#Bridgeport CT-- 2 people were extricated from two cars in a two car crash at the intersection of Moutain Grove and Fairfield Avenue.  Four cars were involved but two of them were parked and there was no one in them.  The first driver was quickly extricated. AMR’s On The Job Training

AMR’s award-winning Earn While You Learn program is designed to ease the transition for those wanting to become EMS professionals. The innovative program provides participants with on-the-job training and certification courses to become emergency medical technicians (EMTs). After successful completion of the program, participants will work a regular part-time schedule for at least one year and receive the opportunity of full-time employment with AMR as positions become available. Westport News: Larceny in the Third Degree

#Westport CT-- On November 1, 2019 at approximately 9:30 a.m., Westport Police officers responded toa local Honda dealership on a report of a larceny. The complainant stated that sometimebetween 8:00 p.m. on October 31 and 8:00 a.m. on November 1 an unknown individual allegedlystole the tires and rims from two separate vehicles. Stratford News: Meet The Author

The Stratford Library will host former Connecticut resident Paul Backalenick for a special “Meet-the-Author” program on Sunday, April 25 from 2-3 pm.   Backalenick will discuss his most recent novel in the program which is free and open to the public.  Paul Backalenick, formerly of Westport, is the author of psychological mystery and suspense novels, most recently Carrie’s Secret. The book was praised as “surprising” and “an engaging mystery” (Kirkus Reviews). In it, a teenage psychiatric patient bears a terrible secret.
