Requested reports from the Bridgeport Police Department: Assault w/Weapon-Robbery Attempt On 7/21/21 Boston Ave & Pembroke St. a person indicated two males tried to rob him and proceeded to stab him. RECKLESS DRIVING ARRESTS FOLLOWING CAR SHOW

FAIRFIELD – On July 11, 2021, an unsanctioned car show took place in Fairfield at the Brick WalkPlaza on Post Rd in Fairfield. The Fairfield Police Department received multiple complaints ofunreasonable noise and unsafe driving associated with this event. Due to recent statutory restrictions on police pursuits, officers opted not to engage, but to monitor the saferesolution of the event in the immediate, and further to observe, document, and identify violators forfuture enforcement action. Trumbull News: Woman Drowns In River

A local woman has died on Friday night, July 22, after being pulled from the Pequonnock River, between White Plains Roan (Route 127) and Quarry Road, in Trumbull. The victim, a forty-one year old female from Bridgeport, was discovered unresponsive in the water prior to being pulled from the river. There were other individuals in the area during this time, who eventually observed the woman in the water and called 911. Trumbull Police, Trumbull Center Fire Department, and Trumbull EMS arrived shortly after and pulled the victim out of the water. Trumbull Police and EMS took over medical care for the victim.
