On 9-26-22, the Norwalk Police Department received an initial forgery complaint, which developed into a lengthy and detailed investigation by Detective Ribisl for larceny. Jennifer Hernandez had been employed as a caretaker for an elderly Norwalk resident for over ten (10) years, when the resident’s daughter discovered that her mother had been the victim of illegal withdrawals from her bank account, which had been overdrawn. Det. Ribisl determined that Hernandez had made over one hundred (100) illegal payments to her own credit card accounts using the victim’s account without authorization, totaling over $58,000.oo stolen from the elderly victim.Det. #Mildord CT-- On January 2, 2023, officers were dispatched to the parking lot of Macy’s for a fight. The victim stated that they parked in the lot near Macy’s and saw Shawn Roby,42 of North Haven who was an acquaintance of theirs. When the victim embraced Roby for a hug, he pushed the victim away. Roby punched the victim in the face and then began to strike them in the ribs with his knee and foot while the victim was on the ground. Roby began to choke the victim before the mall security arrived. Roby was charged accordingly. He was charged with Breach of Peace 2nd Degree, Assault 3rd Degree, and Unlawful Restraint 2nd Degree. NY MAN ARRESTED FOR STEALING DELIVERY PACKAGES IN TRUMBULL

A New York man was arrested Wednesday, January 4, for package thefts from several Trumbull residences. Jesus Felix, age 23, of the Bronx, New York was charged with Larceny for stealing the packages, which contained Apple products worth more than $8,000. At about 12:00 p.m., Trumbull police were notified of a male who was taking recently delivered packages from addresses near Inwood Road and Springwood Drive. The suspected male was observed stealing the delivered packages from the exterior of the residences and then getting into a white Mercedes-Benz. Officers checked the area and eventually located the white Mercedes-Benz parked on the shoulder of Bassick Road, where Felix was the only occupant. Officers spoke with Felix who stated that he was…

Bank personnel stated that a male had attempted to cash a check for $4,040 and the bank had verified that the check was fraudulent. Bridgeport News: Assault On Court A

Police said a person was struck with a hammer in Court A of Success Village. Bridgeport PD and AMR were dispatched to the scene and on-scene reports indicate a male party with a severe head injury, that party was transported to BPT Hospital. The person was alert and able to tell police that an unknown person approached him requesting money and when it was not provided the person was struck in the head, what the party believed was a hammer. The victim is listed as stable. Bridgeport News: Alleged Murder Suspect Apprehended

#Bridgeport CT-- This morning, members of USMS Violent Crime Fugitive Task Force apprehended Luis Hernandez age 44 at his home in Waterbury and served him with an arrest warrant charging him with his role in the 2019 homicide of Miguel Lopez on Noble Avenue. The warrant had been obtained by the lead detective on the case, Martin Heanue. This is the second arrest in this case. Hernandez is charged with Manslaughter in the First Degree, and Conspiracy to Commit Assault in the First Degree. He is being held on a $1,000,000 bond. This was great work by all that worked on this case, specifically Detective Heanue.
