His interest in news spread to become the communities breaking news leader in Connecticut’s Fairfield County. He strongly believes that the public has right to know what is happening in their backyard and that government needs to be transparent. Steve also likes promoting local businesses.

#Norwalk CT--On March 21, 2019, the Norwalk Police Special Services Division and Emergency Services Unit Tactical Response Team executed a search warrant at 6 Center Avenue apartment 1 Norwalk. The search warrant was obtained after a lengthy investigation into Tyler Singewald, who was selling narcotics from the residence. Special Services Investigators seized marijuana, drug paraphernalia, $1300, a loaded sawed-off shotgun, a loaded 9mm handgun and a loaded .38 caliber handgun which was found to be stolen. Investigators also seized several rounds of ammunition. Singewald, who is a convicted felon and is on supervised release from prior robbery convictions, was home at the time and was taken into custody without incident. Bridgeport, CT- At approximately 10:30 p.m. on Friday March 22, 2019 the Bridgeport Emergency Communications Center (911) received a call from a citizen reporting that she came across two parties a female and a male on Boston Avenue and Dover Street and that the male party told her that the female had stabbed him. The Bridgeport Police responded immediately to the area and began canvassing it based on the provided description from the caller. A few minutes later they were able to find both parties on Sheridan Street. 2019-03-31 @ 11:51pm-- Bridgeport Police Chief AJ Perez said that a 31-year-old man was shot six times at Wheeler and Harvard Street and is in critical condition at Bridgeport Hospital.  The chief confirmed that a woman was in the backseat of the car feeding her baby when the shots rang out.  The shooter had no regard for the child the chief said.  A total of 17 shots were fired in what police say was a targeted attack, the shooter called the victim by his nickname.  The chief said "amazingly the woman and the baby in the backseat were not hurt.
