Police apprehended a suspect wanted in two armed robberies in the same hour in Bridgeport this evening. They pursued the black Honda on I-95 north into Stratford then back to Bridgeport ending at North Washington and River Street.
Police have been dispatched to Morehouse Road and Banks Street for a man recording on a public street which is a constitutionally protected activity.

Trumbull last night was apprehended by Bridgeport Police on Lafayette Circle exit 2 of Route 8/25 northbound. I hope to have more info later.

Bridgeport Emergency Communications received reports of a man falling onto the train tracks at 525 Water Street. The man became stuck between the platform and a departing train. The man has been transported to the hospital with unknown injuries. No further information is available at this time.

Nine members of their family were tragically killed in a car accident out of state. Our thoughts and prayers are with them as they navigate through this profound grief. We kindly ask that everyone respects the privacy of our staff member and their family.
