Today's Vehicle Fire was three jet skis caught fire behind a home on Garfield Avenue, causing flames to spread to a nearby shed and other structures on Capital Avenue. Firefighters responded with multiple hoses, extinguishing the fire within an hour. Fairfield Police Respond to Incidents of Vehicle Theft and Residential Burglary

During the afternoon, two juveniles on a moped were observed accessing unlocked vehicles in residential driveways. Witnesses and security footage revealed the suspects entering a Range Rover parked in a driveway, where they stole a key fob left inside the vehicle. The juveniles then continued to nearby homes, entering additional vehicles. (Video footage provided is from Highlawn Road.)
