6:33pm--#Fairfield CT-- The Star gas station at the intersection of Black Rock Turnpike and Jennings Road was robbed by a white male, about six foot tall and wearing a gray hoodie. Police said the suspect fled on foot towards Kings Highway East. K-9 is on scene tracking Jennings Road.
9:44pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Multiple reports of a power outage in the Mill Hill section of town. Radio reports say Bridgeport Hospital is running by generator. Facebook messages to me saying the power outage is also on the east side. This news report is made possible by:
#Bridgeport CT--On Thursday, February 8th the City of Bridgeport celebrated Black History Month at the Margaret Morton Government Center at 999 Broad Street with Our Legacy, Our Lives. The community came together to celebrate lives that had a positive impact in the community. 5:01pm--#Bridgeport Ct-- There is a manhunt in the Dewey/Lenox/Moutain Grove area. Police had a short pursuit on Fairfield Avenue. Drugs were thrown out of the vehicle which was recovered. The driver is in custody but the passenger who had a firearm is running through backyards in the area. Malloy today highlighted the Montgomery Mills transit-oriented development project in Windsor Locks as an example of a successful investment in building attractive communities for people to live and businesses to thrive. 2:35pm--#Fairfield CT—Four people were injured in a three car crash on Brooklawn Avenue at Lawrence Street, which is near Suburban Avenue. Firefighters had to extricate people from an SUV and a sedan. The third car received only minor damage and would be able to drive away according to police.
