11:00am--#Bridgeport Connecticut--The Costa Del Sol Mexican Restaurant at 3851 Main Street was broken into overnight and the cash register was taken around 1am Monday Morning. A Adams Street resident found the register. Police have called detectives to the scene. This report is made possible by:
Connecticut Governor Dannel Malloy was named the 2016 recipient of the John F. 3:11am--#Bridgeport Connecticut-- A man fell from a sixth floor window at Greene Homes Building Two on Highland Avenue. Multiple radio reports say he died from his injuries but authorities have not confirmed this. A woman cries of anguish could be heard throughout the courtyard. Police are handling this as an accident.
1:55am--#Bridgeport Connecticut--Tonight's second car fire was at the intersection of Cottage and Norman Street. Witnesses told me the car was intentionally set. The fire destroyed a garage between two multi-family homes as the residents slept. Police on patrol called it in from their radios to the fire department and got the residents out of the home prior to their arrival. There were no reported injuries when I left the scene but I know it would have been a different story if it weren't for the police's efforts. Firefighters quickly got the inferno under control and make sure the fire did not extend into the homes.
12:33pm--#Bridgeport Connecticut--Tonight's first car fire was in the rear of 595 Shelton Avenue. The fire extended to the boarded up multi-family home but firefighters quickly put it out before to got out of control. There was another car fire that destroyed a garage and extended to the two multi-family homes. I'll have a report on that shortly.

8:18pm--#Bridgeport Connecticut--Police attempted to pull over a car on Linen Avenue with a stolen licence plate. A short pursuit and now a manhunt in the Catherine Street/Washington Avenue area. One person did stay in the car and is in custody. This report is made possible by:
4:49pm--#Bridgeport Connecticut-- A pedestrian was hit by gray Toyota at Old Town and Madison Avenue. No word on the extent of injuries, it sounds like the car stopped an is cooperating. This report is made possible by:
11:41am--#Bridgeport Connecticut--A resident at 1080 Pembroke Street found a woman in her mid 20's early 30's on the 3rd floor back deck unresponsive. Sad to report she passed and it was thought to be from an overdose. This report is made possible by:
3:44pm--#Bridgeport Connecticut--A two car crash at Stratford and Wilmont Avenue, then the driver calls to report hearing shots fired in the area. The shots were NOT between the drivers. So far no reports of anyone or anything hit. This report is made possible by:
