His interest in news spread to become the communities breaking news leader in Connecticut’s Fairfield County. Fairfield News: Gasoline Spill

1:11pm--#cttraffic--#Fairfield CT--Up 10 gallons of gasoline has spilled at the southbound Merritt Parkway rest stop from the fuel pumps.  Firefighters needed additional speedy dry to contain the spill but some may have entered a nearby waterway. Bridgeport News: The G Spot Was The Hot Spot Tonight

3:03am--Bridgeport CT--Once again, police on patrol prevented a fire from becoming more than it could have been.  Police told me the pungent smell of plastic and fiberglass burning alerted them to a fire that could have been much greater since the boats land docked are parked close to each other. Fairfield First Selectman On GE’s Threat To Move Out

#Fairfield CT--Video Report---Earlier today General Electric, Fairfield's largest taxpayer threatened to move out if the State of Connecticut moves forward with their plans to raise taxes in the the state.  First Selectman Tetreau told me he believes it is not the company's immediate interest at this time after they just expanded their present facility.   Tetreau believes this is statement of direction but that the state needs to create a business friendly environment.  "The problems we have in the state aren't going to be fixed overnight, I think they want to see us move in the right direction" said Tetreau.
