#Fairfield CT-- On Thursday, April 27, 2023, at approximately 12:30am, the Fairfield County Regional Dispatch Center received a 911 call reporting that a female was found on Johnson Drive and was claiming to have been robbed of $15,000 in cash. The “victim” reported that she was driving her vehicle when two black males, operating an older model sedan-type vehicle, activated flashing blue and red emergency lights and pulled her over at the intersection of Johnson Drive and Chambers Street. Police UPDATE: On April 26, 2023, at approximately 8:15 pm, Bridgeport Police responded to the 100 block of Denver Avenue on a ShotSpotter activation. ShotSpotter is a gunshot detection system. Once gunshots are fired in an area covered by this service, police receive a notification within one minute directing them to the location of the gunfire. Police officers responded to Denver Avenue, collected several items of evidence, conducted interviews, canvassed the area, and documented their investigation. #Fairfield CT--On Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at approximately 1:04pm, the Fairfield County Regional Dispatch Center received a 911 call from a male victim reporting that he was just robbed at gunpoint in the TJ Maxx parking lot located at 425 Tunxis Hill Cutoff in Fairfield. The victim was attempting a sale of his vehicle in the lot after a prearranged meeting was discussed using a common online platform. The suspects, described as two black males, brandished firearms ordering the victim to turn over his belongings and subsequently fled into the victim’s vehicle, a black BMW. 2023-04-26@8:40pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Around 8:15pm I received a couple of Facebook Messenger reports from viewers of about 6 or 7 shots fired on Denver Avenue. Hearing no calls for EMS I waited until they were dispatched around 8:30. Denver Avenue had a heavy police presence with a red car with its windshield smashed in.
