#Westport CT-- On November 23, 2021, at approximately 1:30 p.m., Westport Police detectivesresponded to Greens Farms Elementary School on a report that a staff member was possiblyimpaired. Upon arrival, detectives learned that Speech and Language Pathologist MichelleBabin allegedly fell asleep while providing educational instruction to a student. Theinvestigation further revealed that it purportedly took staff at least thirty seconds to wake Ms.Babin and when she finally did wake up, she was reportedly mumbling incoherently.Additionally, she purportedly had the odor of alcohol on her breath. Ms. Babin was ultimatelytransported to the hospital for a medical evaluation. Bridgeport Police Update St. V’s Incident

Bridgeport Police said "On Wednesday January 5, 2022 at approximately 1300hrs the Bridgeport Police was notified by New Haven Police regarding a party that had an incident with a Probation Officer at the New Haven Probation Office. The party recklessly sped away from that location and was heading towards the City of Bridgeport. Preliminary reports indicated the party may have a firearm within the vehicle. Bridgeport Police units observed the vehicle near the Chopsey Hill Road area and began a pursuit. Governor Has Hip Surgery

Bridgeport News: Stolen Vehicle Crash Locks Down St Vs Area

2022-01-05@1:30PMish-- Bridgeport Police requested a K-9 to Hunting and Anson Street after a crash. I reached out to police but have not heard back. According to my sources, a stolen vehicle out of New Haven was located and although I cannot confirm a pursuit, there is evidence of a tree taken down on the dividing island on Main Street and then a crash of a black Audi at Hunting and Main Street that took out a traffic light. Many viewers reported a lockdown at St. Vincent's Hospital.

TOWN OF STRATFORD TO DISTRIBUTE COVID-19 TESTS TO RESIDENTS TOMORROW AT SHORT BEACH

#STRATFORD – Mayor Laura R. Hoydick has announced plans for distribution in Stratford of COVID-19 test kits that the Town has received as part of the rapid-test kits being distributed to Connecticut towns and cities by order of Governor Ned Lamont. Kits will be made available to Stratford at one distribution point at Short Beach. As the number of kits available will be insufficient to cover everyone in town, they will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Based on CT Department of Health recommendations to limit the number of tests made available per household, the Stratford distribution sites will distribute a maximum of one kit per car. Each kit contains two tests.
