The legislation expands existing work share programs to allow employers to share their payroll costs with the federal government while receiving grants help to cover other fixed costs such as rent and needs for reopening safely like cleaning and protective equipment. #Westport, CT– This afternoon, multiple black bear sightings were reported in the northern section of town. One bear cub and one large young male bear were observed. The bears were not acting in an aggressive manner and were observed to be acting normally. The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection Wildlife Division (DEEP) was notified.   Black bears are becoming increasingly common in Connecticut. In order to safely co-exist, residents are reminded to take precautions to prevent negative encounters with bears and nuisance behavior. Bears have an incredible sense of smell. $11.3 For Head Start Programs
