10:11pm 2/19--Last night, a man called the dispatch center and reported that he just killed his 16 year-old daughter. Officers immediately responded to his apartment at 2292 Fairfield Ave, Second Floor.When they arrived, they found the caller, Richard Segabiro (DOB: 5/5/86), covered in blood and his niece, Francine Nyanzaninka, (who he raised as his daughter) dead in the bathroom of their apartment. She appeared to have been stabbed multiple times. Also in the home at the time of the homicide were Segabiro's wife and three young children, who were unharmed. Segabiro was arrested and later confessed to the stabbing. Segabiro is charged with Murder and is being held on a $1,000,000 bond. This is the 3rd homicide of 2018 in Bridgeport.

A seventeen-year-old male told me and police that he did get in a car to help a middle-aged woman locate an address. When he attempted to get out of the car the woman tried holding him back, ripping his shirt and scratching up his chest. Police are looking for an older silver Honda with a white or Hispanic female who spoke with an accent. She was about 45-50 years of age, with white/gray hair, about 170 pounds wearing glasses, a pink blouse and light blue pants.
