8:55pm--#Bridgeport Connecticut-- King's Liquor at 1818 Barnum Avenue was just robbed at gunpoint. Radio reports say 3 black males dressed in all black fled towards the direction of Stratford after the robbery. Two of the men showed a firearm. This report is made possible by:
6:06pm--#Bridgeport Connecticut--Firefighters are battling a good size brush fire in the woods near Frenchtown Road near Lakeside Avenue. That intersection is being closed by police due to a fire hose run across the roadway. This report is made possible by:
6:11pm--#Bridgeport Connecticut--A homeless man's source of heat at Spruce and Wordin Street caused a smoke/burning smell inside Stop and Shop at 2145 Fairfield Avenue. An overtime police officer working at the store called in a smell of electrical burning. It was discovered that the homeless living in the park behind the store was burning plastic and other items in a barrel, the smoke got into the stores ventilation system.
#Bridgeport Connecticut--The City of Bridgeport began installation of security cameras at PT Barnum complex on Tuesday. The city plans on installing high definition cameras in all housing projects dubbed "Operation Virtual Shield". Chief of Police A.J. Perez said the cameras will be able to rotate and zoom enough to read license plates off of cars. The cameras will be monitored and recorded at the police command center.

6:40pm--#Bridgeport Connecticut--Police inspect the contents of a car that was involved in a shootout behind buildings two and three at the Greene Homes. Witnesses tell me that there were people shooting at the car as it tried to flee but crashed into the parked cars. There were two people in the car and they left behind wallets and and other items in the car, the fled on foot.

12:18am--#Bridgeport News: A worker at Juno's at 27 Highland Avenue stepped outside and was shot in the eye by a BB gun according to radio reports. No word on the extent of his injuries.
