Fairfield News: Officer Involved In Car Accident

Police UPDATE: Police said the officer was responding to a motor vehicle accident traveling westbound on the Post Road when she was struck by another vehicle at 1241 Post Road.  She was transported to St. Vincent's hospital with a minor injuries and the operator was transported to Bridgeport Hospital for a hand injury. 2019-12-03@3:18PM-- #Fairfield CT-- A police officer was involved in a crash with a town police car on Post Road in front of the Brick Walk.  According to radio reports the officer was transported to the hospital.  Special thanks to viewer Rashid that sent in this photo.

Fairfield News: Gas Line Hit

2019-11-28@12:33am--#Fairfield CT-- Avoid Mill Plain Road at Unquowa Road where a car has hit a utility pole and a gas line.  The area is being shutdown, the gas has been turned off.  There are still down live wires in the street.  Let's hope everything gets restored before the turkeys and pies need to get in the oven!

Fairfield Inaugurations

2019-11-25--#Fairfield CT-- Monday night Brenda Kupchick became the second woman to lead the town as first selectwoman. Former U.S. Representative Christopher Shays swore her in to the town's top position. State representative Laura Devlin and former state senator John McKinney acted as emcees. Twenty Nine other town officials were also sworn in.

Fairfield News: Man Doesn’t Beat Charges

2019-11-23@9:16am--#Fairfield CT-- Police officers responded to a report of a male exposing himself in his car in the area of Beaconview Drive. The caller reported that the male left the scene driving a silver Audi and gave a CT license plate of the vehicle. An alert officer observed the vehicle bearing the same license plate leaving the area and conducted a traffic stop. Jonathan Dejesus (DOB 11/10/1993) of Bridgeport, was later arrested and charged with Indecent Exposure, and Disorderly Conduct after he was observed by a female victim sitting in his parked vehicle with his genitals exposed. He was also issued an infraction for Possession of Less Than 1/2 Ounce of Marijuana and Operating Without a License. Dejesus was released…
