Fairfield News: Pursuit Of Stolen Car
Fairfield Police UPDATE: On 03/16/2019 at 2:24 a.m. the Fairfield Police Department responded to a broadcast of a reported stolen vehicle out of Trumbull which was factory equipped with a GPS locator. The vehicle information gathered from the GPS showed it on Mill River Road, Fairfield. Patrols surrounded the area prior to proceeding down Mill River Rd. As patrols approached, they found the stolen Lexus attempting to flee. The vehicle hit spikes strips (a tire disabling device) and continued to engage patrols in pursuit. The suspects drove the vehicle to the dead-end portion of Pheasant Lane where four occupants exited the vehicle.
