4:24pm-- #Fairfield CT-- A horse found its way into the gated off area of a swimming pool and must have thought the covered pool was safe to walk on but it fell in.  Firefighters told me the homeowner had worked to keep the horse's head above the water until first responders arrived.  Police officer Greg Gunther was first on the scene and aided the firefighters in getting the horse to the shallow end of the pool.   Firefighters had the horse out of the pool in a matter of minutes.  The horse had a long face over the incident but had a tale to tell the other horses.
