Easton and Redding Police are investigating an assault that took place on Black Rock Turnpike near Route 58 in Easton. According to unconfirmed radio reports, a person said they were "jumped" at that location and hit in the head with a brick. The suspects fled in a black vehicle towards Redding. On May 15, 2025, Roger Pratt, age 36, of Naugatuck was arrested by warrant for Possession of Child Sex Abuse Material First Degree. Pratt was arraigned in Derby Superior Court and held on a court set bond of $75,000.00.
