Easton and Redding Police are investigating an assault that took place on Black Rock Turnpike near Route 58 in Easton. According to unconfirmed radio reports, a person said they were "jumped" at that location and hit in the head with a brick. The suspects fled in a black vehicle towards Redding. Pratt was arraigned in Derby Superior Court and held on a court set bond of $75,000.00. Roger Pratt’s arrest was the result of an investigation that began when he was accused of going online and attempting to meet an underage girl.
