Trumbull Police Update On Mall Brawl

2019-12-26@7:00PMish--Numerous teenagers were involved in several altercations at the Westfield Trumbull mall on Thursday evening, prompting a significant police response to restore order. Shortly before 7 p.m., several Trumbull police officers were patrolling the mall on foot when they were notified of a fight that broke out between several teenagers on the upper level near the Target store. The responding officers were able to break up the melee and detained six (6) of the subjects as they attempted to flee. Fight At Trumbull Mall

Trumbull News: Infant Left Unattended In A car

2019-11-22@12:00PMish--#Trumbull CT-- Trumbull Police arrested a woman for leaving an infant unattended in a motor vehicle while she was shopping and eating food at a store inside the Hawley Lane Mall. Angela Ruggiero, age 38 of Beacon Falls, was charged with Risk of Injury to a Minor, and Interfering with an Officer after she struggled with officers who were called for a trespassing complaint at the store. Ruggiero’s 13-month-old niece was located inside of a 2017 Nissan Sentra that was parked in the mall parking lot, where she had been left unattended for nearly an hour.   Just after 12:00 noon, employees of the Five Below store reported that Ruggiero appeared to be intoxicated and was eating food while shopping…

Trumbull News: Trumbull PD Charge Waterbury Man On Robbing Elderly Woman

#Trumbull CT-- Trumbull Police detectives charged a Waterbury man for robbing an elderly woman at the Westfield Trumbull Mall in August and stealing her car. Jordan Savage, age 25, of Waterbury, was apprehended when he was stopped by Watertown Police on Friday night and was arrested without incident after they learned of the active warrant for his arrest out of Trumbull. He was transported to Trumbull Police Headquarters where he was processed on numerous charges. After an extensive investigation, Trumbull Police detectives had identified Savage through a series of related crimes and an additional stolen vehicle from locations in Connecticut and New York State.
