Fairfield News: Kayak Adrift

4:12pm--#Fairfield CT #Southport CT-- A kayak was found drifting in Long Island Sound and called in by resident towards the end of Fairfield Beach Road. Fairfield Firefighters lead by Assistant Fire Chief George Gomola had Marine 228 and 217 launch. Marine 217 located the 12 foot one person kayak about 400 feet from shore. A search was conducted and Coast Guard was called in. After a search of the contents inside the kayak it was determined that there was no one in the boat. As protocol the Coast Guard did a sweep of the area.

Good evening everyone we hope you had a great weekend! Eastern parts of the state are seeing some light rain tonight while western parts had a beautiful sunset! Looking at the week ahead we start off chilly but plenty of sun each day! Bundle the kids up for the bus stop as it will be chilly to start each day... We don't see any travel issues weather wise in the state what so ever for your thanksgiving holiday travels!! As we get closer to Thanksgiving we will see a slight warm up! Our next chance for some rain will be late Friday into Saturday morning. It looks like we clear out for any tree lighting activities for Saturday…

Bridgeport News: Stabbing Victims

2:22am--#Bridgeport CT-- Two stabbing victims were just brought in to Bridgeport Hospital and brought right in to the emergency room. No word on where this occurred or the extend of the injuries.
