Stratford’s Annual Menorah Lighting and Holiday Lighting Festival
#STRATFORD- The Town of Stratford is preparing for their traditional Menorah Lighting and Holiday Lighting Festival. Both events are sponsored by Athletic Brewing Company. In addition to these events, the Town’s Public Works Department is happy to announce that landmarks and buildings throughout Stratford will be also decorated for the Holidays, a new tradition as of 2020. Additionally, the Stratford Beautification Committee will assist in decorating Town buildings. Winter Parking Regulations and Snow Removal
Effective December 1, 2021 There shall be in the City a twenty-four hour (24) a day, seven (7) days a week, parking ban on all city streets and highways. The purpose is to allow snow equipment to remove snow and ice as quickly as possible from all city streets and highways. For this winter season, motor vehicles are allowed to park on the odd-numbered side of municipal streets starting on December 1, 2021 through March 31, 2022. Report While I’m Sick
Most of you saw my post on my recent visit to the West Haven Veteran’s Hospital. I was found to have bronchitis. It has left me weak. Not enough to keep me bed-bound sleeping, but not enough to be running around cover the calls. So I’ve been able to report on stories. For years I’ve been able to listen to my radios in my office anywhere I have an internet connection. That’s how I’m able to listen for extended periods of time I’ve been dozing on and off during this so its possible I can miss calls.
