Bridgeport News: Postal Carrier Robbed At Gunpoint

11:01am--#Bridgeport CT--A postal worker was robbed at gunpoint this morning at PT Barnum housing at St. Stephens and Yacht Street.  It appears the robber only took money from the carrier, she then locked herself in her postal truck until police arrived.  Police are looking for a black male in a gray hoodie, he is about 5'5" between the age of 17 and 20.  He displayed a long gun or shotgun.  Police and the postal inspector are investigating. 8:22pm--#Bridgeport CT--A street robbery occurred at Kossuth and Maple Street by a heavy set male in a black puffy jacket with red stripes.  No gun was shown but was implied. Police Seek Public’s Assistance in IDng Suspects Involved in Gunfire

#Bridgeport, Conn. (Dec. 4, 2014 – Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying suspects involved in gunshots being fired on Nov. 27, 2014, on Boston Avenue. According to Capt. Armando Perez, police are following strong leads in the case and are asking for the community’s assistance in identifying several suspects captured on security video during the incident. At this time, detectives believe at least two gunmen exchanged fire. No one was injured. The gunfire prompted officials to suspend the football game between Harding High School and Central High School, which was being played nearby.
