Heavy fog is making travel difficult. Firefighters reporting a heavy diesel leak from one of the tractor-trailers All people in the cars have minor injuries, the tractor-trailer operator has more serious injuries. Bridgeport News: Head-On Collision

Police UPDATE: On December 11, 2020 at approximately 9:20 pm the Bridgeport Emergency Operations Center received the report of a Motor Vehicle vs Motor Vehicle crash on the Yellow Mill Bridge located on Stratford Avenue in Bridgeport, Connecticut. A black 2010 Honda Civic was travelling westbound on Stratford Avenue approaching the Yellow Mill Bridge at a high rate of speed when it crossed over into the eastbound lane of Stratford Avenue and crashed into a grey 2016 Hyundai Sonata.  The Hyundai Sonata was traveling eastbound on the Stratford Avenue when it was struck on the bridge.  The crash caused severe damage to both vehicles.  Both operators and a passenger in the Honda Civic had to be extricated from their vehicles…

Bridgeport, CT—On December 10, 2020, Bridgeport Police detectives executed a searchwarrant at Blackrock Animal Hospital located at 2877 Fairfield Avenue, Bridgeport. Detectiveswere searching for evidence related to the recent death of a 10-week-old puppy that wasadmitted to the animal hospital to have a procedure to crop its ears. When the owners came topick up their dog the next day, Amr Wasfi, the veterinarian who treated the dog, informed theowners that the dog had died. A subsequent investigation determined that the dog died ofoverheating due to Wasfi leaving the dog on a heating pad for an extended period.
