Bridgeport CT– Homicide #10 Arrest

Bridgeport Police UPDATE: Brandon Roberts has waived extradition and we have been in contact with authorities in Ohio. Bridgeport Police expects to send detectives to Ohio this week to transport Roberts back to Connecticut.   #Bridgeport CT-- On December 8, 2018, Emily Todd was shot and killed on Seaview Avenue next to the Newfield Avenue boat ramp. Detectives quickly developed a suspect in the case who was identified as Brandon Roberts, 10/19/92. We learned that Roberts fled the state and was staying at his father’s residence in Shaker Heights, Ohio. Multiple Bomb Threats To Local Businesses

UPDATE:  From the Connecticut State Police: State Police investigated the report of a suspicious email sent to a school administrator. Shortly thereafter, both the State Police Emergency Services Unit and the Bomb Squad responded to the scene. In the course of the investigation, which is active and ongoing, it was determined that multiple states across the country were receiving similar threatening correspondents- affecting all sectors- both public and private. Each email contained similar verbiage. To date, none of the threats were found to be credible but we strongly encourage anyone who may receive a suspicious email, to immediately call 911. Bridgeport News: 3 Injured Including Cop

12:29am--# Police received a number of calls for a "man" attacking a woman at State and Iranistan Avenue.  Police arrived and chased the "man" catching up to him on Wordin Avenue.
