9:50pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Julianne's Wines & Liquors at 2669 Fairfield Avenue was robbed at gunpoint. The clerk was pistol-whipped and treated by EMS. Three armed males fled in a mini-van.
UPDATE: Police say a senior citizen man filling an air mattress with Fixaflat with a candle burning in the room. According to Wikipedia, Fixaflat type products contain butane. Police said the butane in the product was ignited by the candle causing an explosion. The fire department did not return our e-mails inquiring about this incident. Police Chief AJ Perez told News 12's Frank Recchia “This man is lucky to be alive.“ 6:49pm---#Bridgeport CT-- One person was hospitalized after a small explosion in a bedroom in a home in the 100 block of Beechwood Avenue. The extent of the person's injuries is not known at this time. The fire marshal was called to the scene to investigate the cause.

ShotSpotter uses a wide-area network of acoustic sensors to detect when a gun is fired and then precisely and quickly pinpoints the location of the gunfire. In less than a minute, police officers and 911 dispatchers are notified of the fully qualified and validated gunfire incidents, even if no one calls 911 – although the community is always encouraged to report sounds of gunfire. By quickly notifying police in the event of gunfire, ShotSpotter helps speed that response with precise information in order to save lives.
#Trumbull CT--On December 11, 2018, Police arrested a Trumbull man for a Halloween shooting that occurred in 2017. Trumbull Police charged Anthony Digirolamo, age 20, of White Plains Road, with various weapons-related charges following an extensive investigation. Trumbull Police Detectives obtained evidence from the scene, reviewed nearby video surveillance footage, conducted numerous interviews and served several search warrants over the past year in their effort to identify those responsible for the shooting. Forensic tests were conducted that provided critical evidence and eyewitnesses were located who identified Digirolamo as the person who fired the gun. 1:34pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Police are investigating a stabbing at 375 Park Avenue. The man was conscious and talking to paramedics. It appears he was stabbed in his left arm and his injuries appear to be not life-threatening. Police spokesperson Terron Jones confirmed the stabbing but did not have any further details to this breaking news story.

On 09/28/2018 at approximately 10:30am, officers were dispatched to AT&T located on Post Road East for a report of a stolen item. An AT&T retailer received an alert that merchandise had been removed from the store safe. The complainant, an employee of the AT&T retailer, contacted the project manager of a company hired to repair recent flood damage. The complainant spoke to the project manager identified as “Curtis” and another worker on scene. During the conversations, no one advised the complainant any merchandise was moved off-site, nor was anyone given permission to remove anything from the safe.
