3:55pm–#Bridgeport CT– Police were in a foot pursuit at PT Barnum Housing near building 14.  The suspect is wanted for a home invasion.

4:40pm–#Bridgeport CT– Police received multiple calls of a dog attacking a man at 127 Polk Street. Witnesses told me that the man allegedly starting arguing with his girlfriend and the dog attacked him to defend her. They said this is not the first time this has happened. Multiple sources told me the dog was shot by police but the dog did walk out on it’s own power by a resident of the home. The man was injured and transported to the hospital.

12:25am–#Bridgeport CT– A pedestrian has been hit by a car at Water and Stratford Avenue according to radio reports.

10:49pm–#Bridgeport CT– Bridgeport Police were in pursuit of a stolen Maserati on the east side of town.  The pursuit was terminated at exit 25 southbound on I-95.  A second stolen vehicle connected to this was a Mercedes which Bridgeport Police did locate at Jane and Hallet Street.

Police UPDATE: On 03/26/2018 at approximately 9:49pm an armed robbery occurred at Stratfield Mobil Gas Station 1271 Stratfield Rd. Fairfield, CT. The store clerk reported that a male subject entered the store wearing a hat with a covered face, armed with a knife, and demanded the money from the cash register. After taking the money from the cash register, the suspect left the store and ran south on Stratfield Road. The clerk was not injured during the robbery. The store video surveillance showed a short stocky male, wearing a white head cover, a black T- shirt wrapped around his nose and mouth area. He was also wearing a grey Carhartt long-sleeved shirt, grey sweatpants, and black shoes while carrying a knife. Anyone with information regarding the robbery, or the suspect pictured below, is asked to call the Fairfield Police Detective Bureau at (203)254-4840, or Text-A- Tip to CRIMES (274637).

 

 

9:41pm–#Fairfield CT–The Stratfield Service Center at 1271 Stratfield Road was robbed.  Detectives hadn’t a chance to check the surveillance video when I left the scene so they weren’t certain if the suspect matched the robber from last night’s robbery at Star Fuels at Jennings and Black Rock Turnpike.

 

 

 

5:40pm–#Bridgeport CT– Firefighters and EMS were dispatched to the dugout at the ballfield at Luis Munoz Marin School 479 Helen Street for an unresponsive person.  Turned out to be an intoxicated juvenile.  Police have also been dispatched.
